Bituthene is an advanced self-adhesive water, moisture and gas proofing membrane for protection of sub-structures in accordance with the relevant requirements of BS 8102:2009.

The Bituthene 8000 grade membrane has a unique non-metallised grey colour solar reflective composite carrier film to reduce heat gain while the membrane is exposed and to easily spot damage prior to placement of overlying construction.

The membrane is specially formulated to allow application to 'green concrete' and able to be applied in damp or marginal weather conditions with the use of a moisture tolerant primer system.
