iTunes has now approved a new Rainscreen specification App, developed by EJOT UK. Recognised for the technical excellence of its fastening range, EJOT’s product portfolio comprehensively covers every facet of Rainscreen installation and the new App provides specifiers and designers with a complete overview of the route to specification.

Mr Scott Norris of Reading based Roofing and Cladding contractor Kovara Projects, commented "Downloading from iTunes was problem-free and the App was good to go in minutes. Main navigation is via a touch screen graphic that guides you through the four main elements of rainscreen assembly; ie, substrate fixing, frame fastening, insulation anchorage and fascia panel fastening. All the expected ‘pinch, swipe and zoom’ functionality is there and is very clear and easy to use - quickly matching all materials and substrates with the correct fastening technique and product".

The Rainscreen Specification App by EJOT UK has been developed for ipad iOS 5.0 and above.
