The KEMMLIT Classic Cell cubicle design has been chosen for the busiest washroom in Selfridge’s flagship Oxford Street store.
The store is the second largest shop in the UK and was opened on 15th March 1909.
The Classic Cell cubicle was specified by Jamie Fobart Architects for its purity of form and clarity of design. The elegant and straight-lined cubicle meets the high design standards of Selfridges, as well as being able stand up to the very high amount of footfall that passes through daily.
The smooth-surfaced front with welted doors, concealed edges and supporting legs produces a sophisticated design that appears to float above the ground.
Floor to ceiling cubicles were chosen in brushed stainless steel with stainless steel fittings and complimentary Vario Cell duct panels which are also floor to ceiling.
