John Newton & Company are very pleased to be exhibiting at Ecobuild again this year, where we will be profiling Diathonite, our eco-friendly insulation plaster, and a range of solvent-free waterproof membranes and coatings.

These products are manufactured in Italy by Diasen, and distributed exclusively in the UK by John Newton & Company.

Diathonite: Eco-Friendly Thermal Insulation Plaster

Newton Diathonite is a premixed plaster, fibre-reinforced with cork (granular 0-3 mm), clay powders and NHL 3.5 natural hydraulic lime. The resulting natural compound produces a plaster with unrivalled thermal and acoustic properties that is both hard wearing and flexible which is ideal for both internal and external applications.

• Eco-friendly - Less than 2% inorganic material
• Acoustic Insulation- Sound absorption between 600 & 1500 Hz is >70%
• Thermal Insulation - Thermal conductivity is 0.045 W/mK
• Breathability - Vapour permeability is 0.7kg/m2/hr
