Renolit provide roofing for JJBS Woodland Cemetery in Cheshunt.
The Jewish Joint Burial Society built a new prayer hall on the site of their Woodland Cemetery. They were ambitious in design and the idea was to recreate the Star of David.
The structure would be made from a predominantly steel structure with environmentally friendly materials.
The roof was made of three layers: one layer of cedar shingles and two layers of Renolit Alkorplan, with Alkorsolar profiles underneath the shingles.
At the end of the build all design criteria were achieved and despite the weather and complex design the project was finished on time.
The project proves the flexibility of Renolit Alkoplan and exactly what can be achieved with single ply.
Because of this project Renolit were shortlisted for NFRC and SPRA .
